Tawny coloured, very light. Clear at the top, but slightly cloudy for the final glass - looks like a very old rose. Smells and tastes a little bit like natural wines - not funky per se, but there is a ripe strawberry, popcorn nose and a very light tannic structure to the wine that lifts it from a rose. Light and refreshing, but also quite serious, with beautiful balance and depth. A wine of great interest that needs food to shine. Pairing this with crispy salmon with a gentle corn salsa was ideal.

Dried strawberry and rose potpourri, dried fall leaves and forest flour with just a hint of holiday spice in the nose. Prickly in the mouth with cranberry, bitter orange, dried strawberry and weak berry Kool-Aid followed by rosemary, damp leaves and balsawood. Light body, ok acid and astringent bitter tannin.
OK wine, that even with the little tickle of CO2, came off as lifeless and without energy. I tend to like these types of wines but they need brightness or crunch or something more then this one has left. I think I would have liked this better a few years ago.
