Problem is I've had some really nice BdA lately. Clerico, Scavino, Tridiberri. This Paitin is a cut way below for not much difference in price. Boring on the nose, not expressive on the palate. Fruit is there, not flawed or objectionable, but it's just a simple every day red. When Piedmont is turning out some fantastic BdA's these days, this is a disappointment. Sorry to say as I understand them to be fairly reputable otherwise.

4/6/2024 - Tobinski Does not like this wine:
Far too frail for a 5 year old Barbera. Drink up sooner rather than later before it’s a total goner.
