Dark blue almost. Aromas explode from the glass instantly. So powerful you can smell from half a metre. Distinctly smoky, almost gamey /ferrous. Marked acidity. Tannins more like brushed cotton than velvet. Densely fruity, brambly berries. A strong example of Morgon as a distinctively mineral Cru. Excellent if somewhat lacking in lightness and charm.

Fresh strawberry nose. Strawberry and musk are prominent with crisp berry acidity and hints of oak, leather, cellar and mineral followed by light tannin.

Inky sweet blackcurrant and good tight structure. Like most Burgaud wines I've had there's a hint of bubble gum from carbonic maceration, though less than previous. I drink Beaujolais when I can't afford Burgundy, and while some, particularly in 2021, are more than a match at Bourgogne level, this is almost old school cru beuj. Decent.

Very nice color and nose. Very dry. Great flavors and a crowd pleaser. Recommend.

Ripe raspberries, strawberries, a touch of cream even. Slightly dusty tannins.
