Wow, a wine with an immensely distinct personality. Full cluster piinot-like nose. Palate is concentrated, aggressively stemmy, with significant anise notes and backed by a broader 5-spice, seamlessly melded to red cherry, grapefruit, black tea, and clay earth. Lengthy, saturated finish, dry and savory. Not everyone is going to it but t sure leaves an impression. 91, with upside if the stems integrate better in a couple years.

Very interesting, slightly Burgundian nose. Red fruits, violets, earthy notes. This is tendent to high acid and tannin. Way too young but should be interesting in 2025 once it develops in bottle.

Bright and effusive Gamay here. Gorgeous nose features sweet juicy berries, rosehips, peppery greens, fennel, a little blood orange... Juicy and lively on the palate, fresh fruit is the focus, but there's structure and intrigue, with beautiful acid cut, easy tannins lending grip and texture, there's also a subtle stony and saline character, and delightful peppery green whispers to compete with the raucous fruit. Long staining finish, intense tart fruit melds beautifully with myriad subtle mineral and herbal tones. This is super delicious right now, so I don't see much upside, though it should soften over a year or so, and will surely be worth following for 3 to 5.

Grape, plum, black cherry, and earthy spice nose. Fruity, graceful palate with an earthy streak through the finish.
