Solid big WA syrah with typical pepper notes to go with the fruit. Nice fruiton the body. Smooth mid palate. Tannins well integrated. Wish the finish were a touch longer. Still quite young, with plenty of acid. 91+

Cool signed magnum, listed as #15 out of 25, first release. May have waited too long to open. this wine had a nice fuity nose, but sparkled on the tongue. I think it may be a reaction from the yeast used in fermentation, but not positive. medium to no finish and opened up to have some nice raspberry flavors.

The wine developed into a few different elements over an evening. Nose was initially closed then opened up with some bright blue fruit aromas. Flavors at this point were smokey and meaty. Another hour in and the nose moved over to more of a toasted oak and spice. Flavors did a bit of a switch at the same time and it was all super sweet pie cherries. Nice finish with a good balanced amount of acidity. Would purchase again.

Fizzy taste to it, not that good, but still drinkable - just really unusual.

Corked. Brought back to winemaker and exchanged for a current release.
