  • Light yellow/straw colour with a nose of wet stones, mineral, tilled soil, and wet granite top (!), some stone fruits and a lick of vanilla. A rich entry and mid-palate, the wine is juicy and much broader than expected. A riper, later picked style with a charming stone fruit core showing melon, peach, and apple flavour. A racy well-integrated acid keeps it flowing long. The mid-palate really blossoms as whitecurrant, sea salt, and ripe yellow grapefruit join Meyer lemon, and the acid becomes mouthwatering and salivating, making it a spanking wine. With some good flavour concentration, the finish is more steely, like a cold tin, along with a touch of generosity. Excellent balance
