A difficult wine, starting with a cool, stony impression, showing concentration, but missing definition in the mid- and aftertaste. It took four(!) days of development, but finally, the good start continued in the mid- and aftertaste, with a refreshing acidity, gentle bitters and the stony impression. is there further room for development?

Tasted blind. Clear, medium(+) straw. The nose is clean, with green apple, lemon zest, white peach, white flowers, some grassiness and some mineral notes. The palate is dry, consistent with the nose, with medium (+) acidity, moderate alcohol (12%) and a touch of salinity on the finish. I did not pick up on the typical sur lie yeast and dough aromas, perhaps because it is still very young. A tasty and fun wine.

I went for purity and balance, but in this bottle I (still?) didn't found it. Underneath a bit muted bouquet and taste, I think the quality can become found in due time, so I wait several months with the next bottle.

Couleur d’or pâle dans le verre. Nez frais de citrons jaunes. En bouche, citron, un peu d'herbe verte et belle minéralité. Rafraîchissant et idéal pour les chaudes journées d'été.

Consistent with previous note, a very fine muscadet
