Not quite pre-moxed but showed a good deal more advanced than it should have, was quite clear from the moment it poured many shades darker than the 2012 Rhys chard next to it. a bit of bruised apple showed through. Though if you re-labeled this with a 10-15 year older vintage tag I would have said it was sound. So drink up...

Greenish youthful colour and at this stage feels very young, albeit feels pretty solid. Green apple, light citrus and mineral across from nose to palate, firm acidity gives lots of structure. A touch too firm at this stage but nothing that time will not help with. Good to see they held back on the oak and left the fruit do the talking. 92 for now but as this ages and hopefully evolves it will easily get a couple of pints if not more..
