  Very classic profile of plum with cedar accents. Good plush fruit with nice acidity. Light-to-moderate concentration. Easy drinking, with resolving tannin and in a mature window. No reason to hold.

  I like the traditional style of this wine. Certainly not overripe, not even close. not overoaked. High tannins, traditional style which i appreciate, but it didn't have the acidity and complexity that i would like to see from a slightly old world style CA wine. Definitely had some nice, attractive sour cherry and a bit of complexity, but as a whole it was underwhelming and never gave the sense that it would be much better with time. 89 points for sticking to its guns, but definitely lacking "it". 88-89. New world fans, stay away.
