  Nose: Red clay, slight vegetal herbiness, dried cherries, cloves.
  
  Palate: Good acid, some tannins, slightly lactic, some oak. Not that much fruit overall, but what's there is nice and also shows up in the aftertaste.
  
  The acid feels slightly unintegrated, but overall a good QPR lower price Italian that might improve with some aging.
