Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of black cherries, graphite and plum. Flavors of plums and berries. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Drink over the short term.

Very bright red fruits, after some time some leather and truffles poke trough. Good+ acidity and sour cherries with mild tannins. Good medium bodied refreshing wine. Very good with pizza. It felt apart the next day.

Well-balanced B d'Alba. Better than the WS rating of 85. May look for more of this.

Académie des Cinquante Piemonte tasting (Restaurant Woods, Leiden, Netherlands): Fragrant, cherries and roses, relatively light, modern, friendly, decent length, for drinking young.
