Quite nice after all these years. Rusty very pale red color. Nose is subdued. Rather interesting herbal, touch bitter but with some fruit just hanging on. Wouldn’t age them so long but fun to try.

My last bottle, this was initially stinky but about 30 min in it was quite nice. Great silky texture, definitely more body than this wine showed in its youth. Just a trace of red fruit remaining.

A really good showing, although still not at the level of Houillon's Poulsard. Astringent at first, and only after about 3.5 hours in a decanter did the harshness of the tannins soften a bit. The fruit is somewhere in there, but the wine is about soil and animals and dust. The fruit comes out more after almost 4 hours open. This is probably opened too young, but c'mon - how long are youi really going to make me wait for your poulsard?

i like this wine very much, the fruit is crystal clear and bright, and the wine is well balanced. i would definitely drink it again. that said, i much MUCH prefer the the 07 houiilon poulsard, as in addition to pure clean fruit, that wine also offers layers of complexity, underbrush. this wine, while delicious, is relatively uncomplicated.

Beautiful somewhat reserved nose of tart pie cherry, wet dirt, rose hip florals. Taut and firm in the mouth with crunchy acids and some tannin. Seems very young at this point at least in terms of structure.
