Nez de fruit blanc (pêche blanche), frais. Il n'est pas très tendu mais tout de même crayeux, avec un beau fruit mûr, de la fraîcheur à souhaits. Un peu atypique, mais délicieux. 91 pts

Incredibly solid Chablis, notes of oyster, white stones fruit, fennel, white flowers, crushed stone and white pepper. The palate was fresh, rich and energetic with peach, wet stone and crushed florals, the mid palate had a saline, wet stone texture, finishing with energy yet precision. Slightly more depth vs the standard Chablis. 93
Chatters, why do you hurt me so? When our view on a wine differs 'ich habe Angst und bin so allein'. Yet here I stand, as though at the principal's office, ready to take my cuts, because I like this wine and I get a different beasty to you. Perhaps our bridge might be that I don't love this wine (although I do find myself wanting to sidle up to it).
This is definitely Chablis from a warmer year, but we still have Chablis regionality - perhaps more flint than oyster shell and limestone. The fruit is whispering white peach, although it doesn't flash quite that much cleavage. There is also an attractive brioche element.
Length and intensity are very impressive, especially for the price. This is not a Chablis revelation, but it is a jolly enjoyable Chablis at its level. Badger would drink this, Toad would demand Raveneau (a bottle before going for a drive), the weasels would misbehave after a glass or two. I suspect I am with the weasels; I share their hatchet faces.

Chablis (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Again it's very green, an almost ashy whole bunchy quality. Not a very nice nose. And equally bad on the palate, not flawed just not right.

Fruktig, epler, noe sitrus og stikkelsbær,
Syrlig, frisk i anslaget, sitrus, mineralsk, noe bitterhet mot slutten, lett fylde
