  First time with this wine and it did not disappoint. Sweet spot of a Pinot. Perfect balance with fruit and tannins. Will be looking forward to adding more of this wine to the cellar.

  I had never enjoyed this wine before, but the reputation was what made me buy a few bottles.
  
  Quite frankly, I was expecting a monstrous pinot. What I got was wonderful elegance; clearly a California style, but ratcheted back from expectation. It could be paired much more broadly than expected. It was balanced and it had NO heat at all.
  
  Truly enjoyed.

  Wow! Deep ruby purple.
  Yes, while this clearly has some heat (quite a bit at 15.2%) it is absolutely lovely. Huge rich blackberry, white flowers. Rich, yet so balanced.
