Initially a bit closed, but then coming out of its shell with a lovely nose around lemon, peel, some oak and toast. Rich for a Puligny, I would have guessed Chassagne. Good QPR.

This was very good from a producer I've not had much of, but what I have had I really like. Fresh and precise with floral, mineral, and orchard fruit with some citrus hints. Good depth and a lovely mineral tinged finish. This was good on opening and continued to be good throughout with maybe a bit more depth added. Not quite as good as a Champs Gains I had this spring, but still lovely. Bottled with natural cork.

New producer for me and a terrific addition to the cellar! A classic example from one of Puligny's top Crus that reminds me again why I love White Burgundy above all other Chardonnay sources excepting Chablis. Pale gold color, clean aromas of citrus & mineral. A powerful but weightless ethereal palate w/ layers of mineral, citrus, stone fruit and other harmonics. Mesmerizing! Delighted to have 2 more and wish i could grab more. 13.5% alc 25% new oak.

Typical puligny 1er
normal bony and sesame feel
Overnight to make the aroma mixed. Still too young and need time.
