  • Almost opaque dark red with purple rim. Black fruits, cassis, bacon bits, herbs and spices. Medium-high acidity, medium-high tannin. Bold and concentrated. Full-bodied with a velvet texture. Long finish. Not much tertiary flavors yet, but great potential.

Opened for 3 hours and wine was still tight. Recommend to decant or let it breathe for hours if drinking within the next few years.

We paired with 2020 Les Royes and I preferred the Sud over the Royes. Sud had the extra punch over Royes.
