  • Purple with hints of brick red. It looks 8 years old.

I'm not sure if this has stems included, but it smell like it - there was an almost offputting aroma (for me, anyway) of of stems/twigs/forest floor. There was also blackberries, dark cherry and spice on the nose.

Black fruits in the mouth, backed up by a nice spiciness. Some anise ocaasionally poking through. Fine tannins. Good length. Pretty unique. Ready to go for me.

  • 3% viognier, 100% French oak, 35% new oak.
Aromatic red berries early; simple but it works well. Straightforward palate; red fruits and zingy acid. Kinda simple but very effective
