  Thanks to the additional acidity in the style of Chablis that is caused by the weather in that region, we are blessed with chiseled Chardonnay that are often resistant to premox. This 2006 is still in great shape. Pale yellow to medium yellow in color, one can taste the nicely developed flavors of the wine showing nice notes of chestnut, caramel and sugar cane. I've always liked Moureau wines in the past and I'm impressed by their aging capability.

  Dinner at Kai Garden. Mid golden colour. Nice nose, some mushroom notes. Quite concentrated. No obvious oak. Lively fruit. Low acidity but quite fresh.

  Didn't find the hint of oxidation that DJ Cooper found, just very ripe fruit in a bottle that was probably better, for my tastes, a year or so ago with the acid would have been a bit more evident.

  Clear light yellow. Rich buttery nose, spice and lemon cream as well. Ever so slight bit of oxidation but not a bit distracting. Rich dry lemon flavours and a long dry but rich finish. In a great place.
