  • golden
high tension out of the gate, lemon, quince, zippy acidity and puckering.
This wine needs an hour+ decant for it to round out and settle down. Tartness and acidity mellow out considerably.. petrol and hazelnut and jasmine with mouthwatering crisp green apple and super long finish. Textbook.
    excellent.

  • Medium yellow color.

Match-stick reduction. Lemon zest and pith. Strong honeysuckle and subtle oak and a hint of fennel. Nectarine, quince, and tropical fruit. Grapefruit acidity. Texture is relatively light. Slight hotness in the back palate. Excellent acidity. Floral lift and long finish.

Ripe and bi bodied Meursault. Though, it's not weighty. Amazing intensity and tension.

  • With nAt - meursault tasting - Domaine Latour-Giraud 2020 between 1er cru - Genevrieres and it’s younger brother the village level (cuvée Charles Maxime).

This one very reduce first 45 min. Can’t believe this can’t compare with village level (cuvée Charles Maxime) - Meursault from same producer. Only when time pass by around 60 min. It start to take-off higher and higher at least for 2 more hours. First 60 min. Only white flower were predominate. But after that the stone fruit start kicking-in together with minerally nutty buttery charcteristic. Long long finish. Very impressive.

  • Somewhat classic Meursault, yet not as broad as other wines.

Deep and buttery nose as well as palate. Fruit forward, peaches, banana wine gum, lovely acidity. Intense, but not heavy.

    Hold or drink.

  • Refreshing yet deep and buttery nose with bread-like notes in the end. Very slender and elegan, but still deep and with muscles and loads of butter. Less heavy than other Meursaults I've tried but certainly an intense benchmark interpretation of the terroir. Fresh fruit-forward with peach and yellow melons and wine gums. Beautiful lengthy finish.
