Tasted in wine club. Most impressed of the lively fresh acid which carries the wine. Well made - everything well integrated. Extremely long lenght with complexity.

Huge multi-faceted bouquet. Glorious fruit purity, lovely colour, wonderful mouth texture and just enough acidity to carry off a very long finish ....look forward to the ‘07 on anther special occasion. Happy birthday to me!

Dominio de Pingus vertical tasting - Wine tasting dinner (At home): 97+/100. My no. 2 in this vertical tasting a little after vintage 2004. According to Peter Sisseck 2005 is a "crowd pleaser". sorry to admit: I love it. Very complex, needs 10+ minutes in the glass even though it was decanted

Truly massive. At first an interesting aroma of camphor and mint, but that only lasted a few minutes. The intensity if the 70+ yr old Tempranillo was obvious - but smothered by a huge amount of new oak. If the oak ever gets absorbed, this could be great but for now it is overwhelming.
