Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Made for Berry Bros. & Rudd
    Red/ purple colour, quite pale
Plums on the nose, some spice here, liquorice perhaps, five spice?
Very fresh on the palate, no obvious oak, vibrant plummy fruit, and light fine-grained tannin. Heady sweet perfumed quality like a Cinsault plus a little dark spice.
This really is lovely, fresh and a little exotic, plus only 13.5% ABV.
Costs around £10 - great value. This is pretty much the model of an own label wine.
