  • Drank at the winery over lunch offered by the Blanck family.
Dark ruby. Huge fruit (plum) and chocolate on the nose. Full-bodied with great fruit, soft tannins and a long finish. A fruit-driven and generous version of pinot noir from a region where most p.n.'s are watery and diluted.
Philip Blanck thinks that this is the best vintage ever for his Cuvee F pinot noir.
I think this is the best Alsace red I have ever tasted!
