  Nose of earth, berries, oak, and cherry. First impressions of tart berries & a hint of oak. Quite acidic but not out of balance. We’re gonna let it sit for a while and see if the wine loosens up at all…..
  Well after about an hour in the glass, it definitely mellowed. We would’ve been smarter to decant the wine right away. It’s a very flavorful wine with a very long finish! I’d highly recommend it.
