2017 base disgorged in February, 2022. Pale and initially frothy. Yeast and hay later joined by orange peel aromas. Lactic aspect as well. Crisp, dry, mineral, medium bodied. Excellent and it kept on improving as it warmed and got more air.

Base 2018, off the list at The Grill. Richer and fruitier than the 2014 I’d tried, still that great intense umami minerality. Jane just loved it. Worked for us!

Great freshness and feminine in style. Some fruit but more floral with great tension and mousse. Really enjoyed this but not certain it’s worth the price.

Opened at The Ledbury in London. P&P and enjoyed over dinner.
No extensive notes taken, but very enjoyable. I think I preferred the one I had a few days before which was '18 disgorged - a little more richness and creaminess on the palate - but not complaining. A very good champagne and perfect for the evening and for the first few courses!

Beautiful bouquet with brioche and some beautiful rustic flavors. On the palate tight and focused with minerals, some apple, a bit sticky and drying. Beautiful bubble.
