Very good with truffle mushroom ravioli. Glorious nose of floral candied orange peel. Serious length and depth. Don’t let this get too warm; the ABV ans natural bitter edge can be a killer.

Honey, acacia, peach, yellow apple, a bit of smoke on the nose. Pleasant, not bracing acidity, which suggests some aging potential. The 14% alcohol peaks out a touch on the finish, but not obtrusive. Better, to my palate, than the notes below suggest. A fine value for $30, and strong enough to make me curious about the Il Montino cru.
