Dark red wine shows blueberries, licorice and peppercorn, opens well with time in the glass, the acid is medium at best, the tannin makes sturdy the structure of the wine, dark and sultry flavors of blackberry, dried purple fruit, plum, spice and earth, chewy, round and pleasant, really nice with steak

Rhodolite (garnet) in colour. Lavender, forest floor, pot pourri, rose petal and blueberry on the magnificent nose. Medium to medium full in body, quite silky, very fresh, and there's quite a bit of mid palate lift (perhaps a bit of oak?) with black cherry and cassis dominating. Very much on the young side but good to go with cuisine although should improve and would be lovely to try again on the verge of tertiary (in perhaps 5 years?). 80% Grenache 20% Syrah 14.5% abv. Love the nose on this!

Delicious ripe fruits as you would expect. Medium high alcohal. Medium heavy body. Medium heavy tanins and sugars. Decanted for an hour. Very tight still. May improve with a few years.

The floral tones of the grenache shine through in the Lopy. Acidity a tad high for me. Previously my favorite but supplanted by the Doucinello now that I’ve tried that this year.
