  • From 355ml can. Light salmon-pink color, moderately bright. White peach & fresh strawberry aromas, with mineral, ginger and tea, along with a hint of savory forest floor. Reduced with a little dissolved C02 at first, it opens up after about an hour to fresh tart raspberry and quince fruit, with dense secondary notes of oyster shell, turned earth and ginger and tea spices. Lean and sinewy, with taut acidity and hints of salty almond on the finish. Definitely a different expression with an added year of aging in the can format. It shows a mature dimension with some interesting development that came into focus after it was open for a bit.

  • Light pink in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries & hints of zesty orange rind with overtones of floral notes, spices & minerals. Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of fresh strawberries, tart cranberries & citrus notes of lemons & limes, some spices & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present. The Rose is blended with selected lots of Grenache with small amounts of Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault & Counoise from Santa Barbara County.
