Thirty minutes in the glass before tasting. Very very deep magenta color. Black cherry and tobacco are the dominant notes. Tongue drying palate. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.
Had a wonderful tasting here at Seavey, although most of the wines were not my style. All the reds lean toward Bordeaux. The property is beautiful, with a working farm. #1WineLover and I especially enjoyed meeting the baby goats.
