Almost-ripe fruit, but not at all tart, with a touch of "sweetness". Strawberry, cranberry, and incongruously, a little dried strawberry, maybe a bit of dried woody herbs. Soft, M/M- body. Very nice.

medium ruby/garnet and light to medium body in the glass. red cherry, sap, blood orange peel and just hints of earthiness on the nose. subtle red fruit attack that grows in brightness against a mineral vein and is augmented by a bit of spice; somewhat short on the finish.
not a lot of complexity but good everyday Pinot for those of us not fond of the jammy style common in this neighbourhood of the price scale.

The Copain is medium ruby in color. There is medium intensity cherry on the nose. On the palate, cherry and raspberry notes accompany a light body and acidity. The tannins are low on this as well. While not particularly complex, this is a good balanced wine to serve with chicken.

delicate but solid, light red with opaque edges, aroma of cherries, delicate with mild spice but evolving finish

NR. BTG flat, soft, uninteresting. I wonder how long the bottle was open.
