Geruch: Sauber. Mittlere Aromen von Zitrone, Apfel, würzige Noten wie Pfeffer. Jugendlich.

The deep salmon color sets the tone - quite a bit darker than a Provence Rose sitting besides it in the wine cooler. Had it chilled, and hit by notes of cherries, watermelon, and grapefruit, a hint of chocolate. The nose and first sip reminded me immediately of Nyetimber Rose, minus the bubbles. A slightly bitter taste mid palette with a quick finish.

From 75cl, composite "cork", P+P. As noted here on 11./12.09.2022. This is best at about 12–13C, where the redcurrant (–underripe raspberry) fruit is most juicy, and the texture sparks with bright acidity. 89P

French road trip, mainly Rhône valley; 9/4/2022-9/18/2022: From open 75cl at Domaine de la Mordorée tasting room. Almost exactly as noted yesterday, but without food, the redcurrant fruit (pip tannins and some acidity) were more prominent. 16 EUR at cellar door, currently on 5+1 offer =13,33 EUR, a very fair price. 88P
