Dark, closed, intense without being too much of any. A moody wine.

Well made wine but modern and oaked, making it lose some of its Rioja identity. Maybe too young as well

RussK WW@Seville Manny's Tasting. This flight seemed too young to me.
Clos Mogador / Benjamin Romeo Tasting (Rheingau Gourmet & Wine Festival Hattenheim, Germany): Rich and powerful, very closed, completely absorbed new oak, masculine and structured, fleshy, beautiful style, high alcohol but not port-like - on the contrary quite playful and very classy. In a league of its own in this tasting.
