Fantastic wine, but bears little resemblance to traditional Rioja. If tasted blind I might have even guessed Cote Rotie. You can pick up similarities to Sr. Romeo's work at Artadi but this is a richer style. This isn't much of a food wine because of the weight and viscosity. There is a good deal of sweetness/sun to it as well Long finish. One of the best Spanish wines I've ever head but paradoxically not very Spanish

Still drinking very well, lots of sweet fruit and god acidity. Not classic Rioja but very well made and thoroughly enjoyable
