  Opened this wine at home for the CNY 7th day celebrations at home with my in-laws and their relatives.
  
  Did a quick decant prior to serving. Dark, brooding, and a bit moody. Slightly closed but somewhat reflects the character of the blend that is in the wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the structure, Merlot the flesh. The Malbec adds the flavours: wild mushrooms, plums and chocolate notes. The Syrah adds the spices, while the Petit Verdot contributes to the violets, and complexity.
  
  Lovely wine, but not mind-blowing.
