Spicy, leafy, accents add to the bright red fruits on the nose. Medium-bodied, soft, crisp, strawberry, cherry, and red plums with a savory touch and just a hint of chocolate finish off the wine. You can enjoy this on release and over the near term while waiting for the Grand Vin to develop. Drink from 2023-2031. 88-90

En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): Pretty plummy fruit is marred by a touch of dirty glass, a little red berry and some rhubarb in support, oak dialled back. Medium plus intensity acidity, slightly sour, a bit of alcohol warmth, plummy fruit, savoury almost salines underpin, chalky textured tannins. It’s a bit meh for me.
