Intense tropical fruit be soon dissipated to leave a classic high quality gooseberry and mineral sancerre. after half an hour or so open, body became a little fuller and it became even racier, approaching petillance. very enjoyable. classic sancerre and such good value compared to e.g. the very popular Vacheron. will be interested to see how it fares in a warmer vintage... even better after a couple of days in the fridge under vacuvin. delicate and beautiful, the gooseberry now sliding into blackcurrant and summer fruit leaves with a hint of lemongrass. absolutely delicious.

Fresh and expressive SB aged for 5 months on its lees in stainless steel. Pale lemon colour. Intense developing fresh aromas of white currants, grass, peaches, mint, apple, grapefruits. Palate is signed by high acidity, medium body, medium abv, medium intensity of grapefruit, lemon flavours with saline mineral notes, long finish. Very good quality SB which should be drunk now.

Pale yellow. Smelled grapefruit, lemongrass, chalk, lime; the taste had citric bite with some nice underlying fullness. Medium plus fruit finish. Classic Sancerre.

Good for the price to really ripe (borderline sweet). Banana Laffy Taffy, grapefruit and dried herbs. Searing acidity brings it together.
