  • Walk around tasting, so just short notes.: Village wine. Apples and some citrus, ok acidity. Clean wine.

  • Intense , fresh, floral nose, bright and bone dry on palate, lots of grapefruit. A joy to drink and a ridiculous bargain at the price.

Opened for our 29th Blind Zoom tasting

  • From small capped bottle. Double blind. On the nose dry, fruity. Bright and fresh - hints of green, honeysuckle faint apple bit of rock candy. Crisp and light. Almost Riesling like but not quite the same on the palate w feel - a bit thicker and more oily. But of tart apple a little tart with citrus. Finish is a bit harsh. I guessed German Riesling right away although the wine didn’t exactly fit. Then I guessed GV and then started guessing all over. Was about to try odd German varietals but I was behind and gave up. Oh well. Evidently I did better than the others. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14/20.

Day 4: From a small capped bottle. Out of a Zalto Universal. Ok - This is lovely. Green apple, a bit of citrus, green grass, green herbs nice rocks. Light and airy on the palate. A slight bit thicker than Riesling and a bit more green bitter but very nice. Good minerals green herbs apricot pit. I find this much better than I thought on day 1. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 16/20.
