Decent medium-bodied Merlot. Supple, delicate almost, but still well structured. Cherry abounds, with a smokey undertone that adds complexity. Had the first glass behind an Australian shiraz, which was a mistake in my opinion. Had a second glass the following night and realized there was more to it. Picked this one up for $13, which isn't a great price but not bad. I've seen it retail for $17-$19... which in my opinion is a bit much.

Not much nose. The bottle might be past its prime. It was fairly smooth and easy-drinking but was without much character.
