Cool minerality, tart acidity and vivid fruit made this an excellent match to a majorcan lamb borret with chick peas, apricots and cherries and red camargues rice. This wine craves for food.

Reminds me of old time Cote Rotie - peppery and all. Really impressive flavor but in the mix is a certain almost sour note. Easy to like, but also easy to not like.

Rough and rustic, with aromas of cooked stone, blackberry, and meat tat become more pronounced on the palate. The acidity is a bit rasp-making and the finish is focused on the middle front of the palate — it's distinctly absent toward the back. It's also overly tart. Over four days I confirmed that this was simply not good.

Sunday Brown Bag Tasting (Rich & Dana's): Aromas of pepper, olive tapenade and dark fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of dark fruit and olives. Nice finish.
