Very enjoyable wine. Grass and minerals layer with light tropical fruit with some tartness on the finish. Paired it with sushi rolls that had some spice to them. The wine seemed to exacerbate the spice in the rolls, but not unpleasantly.

Bright and pale yellow. Intensely aromatic nose, it first showed tropical fruits like guave. pineapple and yellow rose, with hints of musk, like chickens running around some wet hay and grass. But then expressed more cooked asparagus and bell pepper (especially when tried next to a Sancerre), which I'm guessing would overpower if left open too long. Slightly off dry on the palate, there was a fruit stone bitterness, some spice and high acid. Notes of pineapple rind, baked apple, green olive with pit. Moderate alcohol and oak were well balanced in for a decent weeknight dinner wine with roasted chicken and potatoes and veggies.

Pear, lemon, pineapple and grass. Nice depth in the mid palate. Crisp finish. 13% alcohol.
