not getting the pale color of the other tasters. This was almost honey golden. A touch too sweet I thought - a tad cloying. very creamy - no acid. Although it was a tasty bottle, it did not hit the typicalness of a Spatlese, which should be zippier. good, not great.

Pale golden in glass. Generous and gorgeous nose of honey, mandarin orange, white flowers, and hint of petrol. Very weighty and creamy on the palate with explosive citrus orange fading to a creamy key lime pie finish, with again a hint of the petrol on the back end. Lacking just a touch of acidity and maybe a touch too much residual sugar, but maybe that is being too picky. Overall an incredibly delicious Riesling that would please most crowds. (A-).

A spätlese with a light touch, and after three days open it reaches its lightest, cleanest point yet. Really nice nose of cinnamon and a lovely clean finish of apples and banana.

Pale. Forward aromas of peach, pomegranate, guava. Ripe, tasty with a citrus twist but overall low acidity. Too fat for a proper Mosel Spatlese.
