  • This wine gets better after an hour or so. But even though it has nice cherry and red berry flavors it seems all concentrated on the mid-palate. Not much on the front and only dry and tannic on the finish. I think you should try this and choose for yourself. An interesting wine that I liked alot when I had it last year.

  • No rating yet, I'm going to wait until tomorrow. Tonight, popped and poured, a jagged nose and a jagged finish. Rough. After 30 minutes it opens some, revealing some really nice big, black cherry and ripe plum and red fruits. But too much heat on the finish. That's a shame, it is a 2003, you would think it is ready by now.

  • Day 2 - Dark red color, sweet cherry and baking spice, (Luden's cherry lozenges). Great, smooth mouthfeel. Delicious flavors of red fruit, nice spice, "misting flavors of cedar". This is a really nice bottle of wine. Surprisingly, this was even more pleasurable on the 2nd day than the first.
