  • Croatian white wine from Dalmatia: Posip. 13,5 % alcohol.

    Light golden color.

Fresh and delicate aromas of ripe red apple, lemon, vanilla, exotic spices, pears and wet stones. Powerful and fresh flavors of lemon, honey, red apple, beeswax, exotic spices and minerals.

Dry. Full body. Medium+ acidity. Good balance. Very good structure. Some complexity. Rather elegant.

Medium+ finish with lemon, red apple and beeswax.

A very good Posip and a good white wine with structure and and a strong minerality. On the negative side it lacks a bit of precision and is a bit rough around the edges. Works very good with food (Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl) and is good alone. The wine performs best when its a bit warmer than fridge temperature and it improves somewhat with air. 90/100
