{screwcap, %} A bit tropical, passionfruit, guava, paw-paw, etc. Just dry enough not to cloy on the bright, light-bodied palate. Lowish acidity, oakless, but a fairly simple, shortish finish. Ideal hot summer quaffer if you’re otherwise freaked out by the word ‘riesling’ on a label somewhere.

i found the aroma too pungent and overall overwhelming the flavor. acidic and citrusy, the taste would be more enjoyable if the nose didn’t linger as long. paired it with various cheddar cheeses, a spanish iberico, even a truffle cheese. the cheddars brought out a sweet flavor and yet, nothing dispelled the aroma.

Beautiful aromas of peach, passion fruit, and some grapefruit.
On the palate, the wine immediately screams NZ Sauv Blanc. Lots of passion fruit and some stone fruit on the decently long finish.
The acidity comes with hints of lime zest and gooseberry, but I was left wanting a bit more of that acidity. On the simpler side with a structure being held up by the just-enough acidity. However, the passion fruit flavor was very pure. A great QPR (for $10 locally) and a great quaffer. I tasted this blind alongside a Russian River Valley Sauv Blanc and paired it with prosciutto di Parma, goat cheese, and fig/olive crisps.

Solid with enough acidity for food and clean crisp citrus profile.
