  • This must be the epitome of the finest Alsace Traminer. Tiny, 0.5 ha single vineyard is located at the steep volcanic soil slopes of Vosges Mountain, higher than most GC’s, up to 480 meters of altitude. Medium golden colour. Medium intensity complex aromas of mango, blood orange, papaya, flint, melon, roses, smoke, ripe apple. Full body, surprisingly dry, silky, opulent and muscular (15.6% abv) but so well restrained and vibrant with multilayered mineral flavours echoing from aroma, high well integrated acidity.
