Tasted over 2 hrs -translucent light gold -perfumed honeyed white floral lemon -med+ acidity comes galloping in at the finish, med/med- weight slightly honeyed almost sweet sappy intense mineral finish -quite nice with a chiseled chenin-like quality

Not what I was hoping for, unfortunately. There's some very nice stone fruit at play here, but it's immediately followed by a tidal wave of lemon and a little orange. It's rather like biting into very underripe fruit where the sour hasn't yet been turned to sweet. I love high acidity in a wine, but wow, this is at my limit. Incredibly tangy to the point where it's difficult to notice much else. I think there's some nice mineral here too, but again -- acid bomb. I don't know how much that will ever settle down, but I'm going to give my other bottle some time to mellow.

A delicious late night bottle at Cuenllas Salesas. Ultra exotic tropical fruit, more yellow than green which I sometimes get in these wines. Nicely integrated acidity, not too sharp, feels like a few grams of sugar but nothing out of balance. Some really exceptional textures here, and interesting mineral notes on the midpalate to add interest. Great rec from the caviste.

Citrus explosion of lemon with grapefruit as it opened up. Literally makes me pucker after drinking. Interesting, refreshing but not great with food
