The most complex of seven Chardonnays tasted blind, among which was a 2018 corton-charlemagne and a 2013 Fevre Vaudésir. The only one of the seven that I liked more than this was a 2015 1er cru from Saint-Aubin by Paul Pillot.

First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): "Served blind Peach, stone fruit, slight citrus, touch of butter, sweet spice. Tangy, juicy, textured burr, acid a little sharp, meaty underpin, touch of alcohol warmth on the finish. I guessed Burgundy, Meursault and 2020 - alcohol should have told me further south"
