Again, another Tercero white that blossoms as it warms to room temp. This Roussane was loaded with flavors and textures, a fascinating white that deserves attention and delivers enjoyment as well. These off-the-beaten-path Tercero whites are a journey for the wine lover who is tired of the "usual" varieties.
Tasted on day 2. Medium gold color. Aromatics a bit more muted. Big hit of stone fruit here. Apricots? Saline. Some slate. Nice cut and delineation. The tangy acidity is a great foil to the fruit.

Opened this after finishing a 2009 Maison Bleue Soleil Olsen Vineyard Roussanne, which was a very good, but muscular wine. This was also very good, with fairly high viscosity, but much more nuanced than the Maison Bleue. Interesting, complex, and enjoyable white. Easier to drink than the Maison Bleue.

Nice Rhone white - notes of stone fruit. Best on the warmer side.
