On the nose: Sour cherry, cranberry, cinnamon, smoke, bit earthy Tastes: Sour cherry, leather, cinnamon It is very well balanced. A bit warm from the pronounced alcohol note but in a good way. It is moderately fruity which is pleasant with other notes to compliment it. Medium-low acidity, medium-low tannin.

From the coravin. Muted slightly inky nose. Red fruit with cherries prominent. Light bodied, fresh, good acid, decent balance. Expressive finish. A bit of alcohol heat. The style reminds me of a Rosso di montalcino but Grenache focused. It’s a pleasant, enjoyable wine. I’m not so sure this ages a long time.

Little bit more ripe Grenache fruit, and then a little bit more of a since of raisin and Syrah dark fruit character. Long, but not necessarily in a way that I prize.

Richly perfumed rose garden with a wisp of fig bouquet. Medium bodied vibrant balanced juicy fruit entry with lingering raspberry jam tones, sprig of herb, sliver of vanilla oak, delicious. Sensuous mouthfeel strikes all the right notes across the tongue and palate leaving a silky pleasingly penetrating impression. Agree with whits note.

Herbs and raspberry on the nose, a clean and polished style, juicy mid palate and herby earth finish, assertive with natural berry, fig and herb flavors, obviously young, but showing nice balance, accessible now with a stew or slow cooked meal, shows a healthy amount of life and vigor, nice value
