  • Decanted for 3 hours. Explosive nose of strawberry, cola, melon, raspberry, herbs and some tobacco. Light, elegant and juicy with pleasant acidity and grippy tannins, but definitely could feel the heat from the 15% alcohol and the finish was on the short side with some bitterness. I’m a big fan of these Sierra de Gredos garnachas and it feels like there is upside potential here. Will try again in a few years but still feels like good QPR at $28 considering what entry level Comando G goes for these days.
