Much better experience than previous bottle. This time it showed great right from the start with a nice mix of earthy, fresh soil notes mixed with cranberry, pomegranate, fresh florals and a touch of herbal cough drop. Similar flavors on the palate with a good mix of red fruit and savory, earthy notes. Medium+ acidity. Medium tannin and body. Everything I look for in a Fleurie.

Pungent nose of rustic blackberry, yeast, and strong barnyard smells. Dark rustic wild berries with sourness, unripe blueberry, light oak and ferrous notes. Blackberry fruit, animal notes, light tannins, tangerine peel, and some citric energy on the finish. Might need a little more time to settle down.

Reductive notes of sulfure at first that blew off after a 60min decant.
Fig, potpourri, coriander, cured meat, violet, and pepper to start that slowly evolved to a jalapeño/green pepper bite. At this point the wine started changing phases rapidly. A maple syrup, tomato, mint character took hold for a while that finally finished with pipe tobacco, pomegranate, and black tea.
A thrilling and exhilarating wine that punches way above its weight. True sophistication and elegance.
Long finish that lingers for seemingly ever. Medium body and light+ tannin.

Nice Beaujolais with some nature wine aromas of farmyard/brett. Light and juicy on the palate.

Lovely again. Wine-making is still clear and it's still very very alive. Wonderful :)
